Hot Shots are all tied with bucktail on Mustad # 3260B Gold Hook. The Hot Shot Flies also have a reflective tinsel tied in with the bucktail. . One of the most effective ways is using the Hot Shot is a double fly rig on a three way swivel. Tie the first fly 6'-0" from the three way and the second 24" behind that. Where trolling is permitted troll upstream in a zig zag pattern crossing the current break as often as you can. As you are doing this pump the fly up off the bottom.
